Magelssen Pioneer Dies In Livingston Hospital
Peter James Magelssen of Clyde Park, longtime Montana resident and elder brother of Chris and Jake Magelssen, died Monday morning at Park Hospital in Livingston after a ten day illness. He was 56, born in Wisconsin, and had lived in Montana since 19. He owned a livery stable in Livingston and later ran a Clyde Park hotel. Burial was in Mountain View. pallbearers included William Lee Semtoca Harold Summer.
