Teenage residents aged 16 to 18 with 1957 big game licenses should keep their licenses if they do not plan to take the hunter safety course in 1958. Bob Donlin, supervisor of safety training, said under 18 must complete an instruction course to obtain a 1958 license unless they held a prior big game license and should retain it.

A retired teacher born in Salt Lake City she taught in Utah and Montana before retiring in Bozeman. Survivors include a daughter, six sons, 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Traver Smith was elected president of the Dude Ranchers Association Saturday during the closing day of the convention in Sheridan Wyoming. Smith operates the S R ranch on the Lower Sweet Grass. Other officers named were Les Shoemaker of the CM ranch at Dubois Wyoming vice president and Howard Kelsey operator of the Quarter Circle ranch at Gallatin Gateway secretary treasurer.
The second annual Basketball Roundup starts Friday at 7 30 p m with Stanford versus the Sheepherders in Class C and Harlowton facing Belgrade in the other double header. Belgrade fields a strong lineup led by Dale Haar six two and a half and guard Jim Gowan with seniors Roy Sharp and Stan Carlisle.
