Death Claims Former Sweet County Resident
Former Sweet county resident Mrs. Lee Hash died November 14 at Bozeman Deaconess hospital after a long illness, just before her 68th birthday. Funeral services were held at Sunset chapel with Rev. Walter C. Wampler officiating. Pallbearers were local Bozeman men and Nils Petersen of Big Timber. Interment was at Sunset Hill cemetery. Mrs. Hash, born November 15, 1878 in Edgewater, Virginia, married Lee Hash in 1903 and moved to Montana, settling in Harlo ton where her husband worked with Montana Lumber and Hardware Co. for many years.

Hart recounts a wet 12 hour wait for daylight during a mountain goat hunt, noting scarce dry wood as the reason. He says he might receive extra unsigned checks for future fires.

Coyote Tagged in Park Found Dead Near Prather Creek
A tagged female coyote from Yellowstone, used to study migration, was found dead at a poison station on Prather Creek near Big Timber, seven miles southwest, a mile and a half from the Boulder river. Five other coyotes were collected by Paul J. Newell, predatory animal hunter, as part of county efforts to curb sheep depredations. Newell has killed 26 coyotes and covers a large area, with Tom Netland also employed to hunt in the north end of the county.

Funeral services for Charles T Cellars uncle of Dorman Kellogg and former Big Timber resident were held Nov 7 in Lewistown with burial in Lewistown cemetery. He was born Dec 23 1875 near Fort Worth Texas and lived in Idaho Park City Big Timber Missoula Kendall Christina Lewistown and Denver before moving to Kendall and later Lewistown. He married Catherine Sienger in 1808 and worked as a bookkeeper for Fergus County hardware and Power Mercantile. Survived by his widow and two sisters Mrs Harry Raiff Columbus Mont and Mrs Mantis Morrow Bremerton Wash.

Funeral services for 80 year old William A Griffin were held at Lowry chapel with Rev H S Tool officiating. Burial followed at Mountain View.
