They left Saturday morning and returned afternoon then attended church in Melville. Gardiner troop showcased costumes and contributed to the National Girl Scout camp in Idaho. The Sweet Grass Pioneer Society held its annual banquet at Fraternity hall with about fifty attendees. Senator A Ronald McDonnell spoke urging more members from pioneer descendants, and a plan to mark the old Hearst stage station was proposed. Mrs Barney Warp of McLeod is appointed chairman of Sweet Grass county 1965 Christmas Seal drive by Montana Tuberculosis Association executive director John H Case bolt. Campaign starts November 16 with mailings. Warp urges early contributions by personal check or money order to aid tuberculosis and respiratory disease control. TB deaths were 32 in 1964 and new cases 116, with 1965 TB rate up to double the prior year.

Gary C Davis of Billings reported his car fatally struck a deer six miles west of Big Timber on highway 10 Sunday around 9 30 p m. The front end was heavily damaged. Game violations listed include Robert White of Billings fined 150 dollars for deer spotlighting on Antelope creek Frank Peterson fined 75 dollars for attempting to kill a deer on Bridger creek with artificial light David Peterson fined 25 dollars for the same charge.
