Man Drops Dead At Court House
Carey Snow former Sweet Grass county rancher collapsed and died of a heart attack at the county courthouse at 12 30 PM while being questioned by County Attorney MacFarlane and Sheriff Osborne about a highway collision he was involved in the day before. Snow owned the Wormser ranch north of Big Timber, left 16 years ago, and lived near Billings. Relatives had not been contacted at press time.

Mountain Lion Shot Near Livingston
A large cougar shot near Livingston became the first Park County big cat bagged in years. Clifford Lambert of the Yellowstone valley tracked the predator for over four hours in the Deep Creek Suce Creek country before killing it. The animal measured about eight feet long and weighed roughly 150 pounds.

Mr and Mrs W G Robinson marked forty five years of marriage at their Big Timber home on Saturday November 8 with family help. A three tier cake baked by daughter Mrs Oscar McLane and mums from Evangelical church Women’s Society centered the table. Relatives assisted in serving and a silver purse was given to the couple. Their three children present were Mrs J M Farnes of Denver Wyoming Burton Robinson and Mrs Oscar McLane of Big Timber. They wed November 5 1902 in Plainfield Iowa and moved to Montana in 1913, later settling near Reed Point before moving to Big Timber two years ago.

Dog Cause of Freak Hunting Accident Near Chinook
M R Wood secretary of the Kalispell elementary school board was injured in a hunting accident when a dog leaped into a car seat and tripped a shotgun. The blast struck him on the left temple, costing him his left eye, and he is hospitalized in Kalispell with severe facial injuries.

Meat Rationing Proposed By Senator Flanders

Funeral Services Held For Robert A. Ryan
