Billings Family Perishes in California Fire
Three Billings residents died in a suburban La Mesa fire near San Diego. Mrs. H. B. Godfrey 523 Yellowstone Ave and her two children Nancy 14 and Gordon 11 were identified by Deputy Coroner A. E. Gallagher. Thomas 17 was not home, and the blaze was fought for about an hour by state forestry firemen. The cause remained undetermined. Mrs. Godfrey had moved to California this fall to join her children in school there.
