Seven Injured In Two Car Collision Near Big Timber
Cecil N Nottingham and four of his children along with Fort Peck couple Mr and Mrs Arthur Schick were injured in a two car crash on highway 10 west of Big Timber about 4 36 Friday afternoon. Nottingham suffered a fractured hip shoulder and arm Patsy 12 a fractured pelvis and is improving while the Schicks received multiple contusions and lacera tions. Three Nottingham sons Charles Donald and Bobby were treated and released. Police say Nottingham pulled onto the highway from the Harold Buster ranch.

Mr and Mrs Leif Anderson and their son Don spent the weekend with Bill Thornby and family in Butte. Herbert E Stover of Big Timber pleaded guilty in justice court to giving beer to a minor and was fined 100. He was released after paying the fine.

A multi colored flying object hovered south of Livingston for about three hours after midnight drawing hundreds of residents and jet pilots with binocs. Funeral services for 77 year old Mamie Shutts were conducted at the Lowry Chapel with Rev. Helmuth Fichtler officiating and organ music by Mrs. Frank Chase. Interment followed at Mountain View. Born April 20 1880 in Athens Georgia she came to Big Timber over fifty years ago and was married to John Shutts in 1920 at Billings. Survivors include son Randolph Hubert of Athens and a daughter with unknown address plus a granddaughter.
