Police and federal agents seek the slayer of Joe Hays a 30 year old informant who aided raids against bootleggers His body was found on a sand bar near an island in the Mississippi river with a battered head and a bullet wound A barbed wire bound corpse and weights suggest a river burial as ten men including bootleggers were questioned.
Army crushed Yale 33 to 0 at Yale Bowl in New Haven with 75,000 spectators. West Point gained its first victory on Eli soil since 1911 despite 14 first half penalties, while capitalizing on Yale errors to score three touchdowns and maintain an unbeaten march.
At Crow Agency near Hardin, Sheriff Robert P. Gilmore and Special Federal Officer John MacLeod were fatally wounded, and Undersheriff Andrew L.
