A 630 acre ranch two miles east of Big Timber offers 609 acres seeded to alfalfa and timothy with the rest pasture, all fenced. Among the churches a special service at the Methodist Church is set for Sunday morning with the subject The Lord Our Defense. Reports on church work and a financial report will follow. All members are urged to attend. No evening service due to county high school graduation exercises.
Rev. Dr. H. H. Thoren ministers the Sunday services at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. Strangers in the city are especially welcome.
Rector Rev C W MacWilliams will not hold services for the next two Sundays. He left this week to visit relatives in Calgary Alberta and will return for Sunday school on the 31st after which regular summer services resume.

H A Whittier reports two horses missing from his camp near Adams ranch on Sweet Grass. A light bay horse about 1475 pounds with white on face and a dark bay horse of similar size, both blocky, plus a corral broncho with buff on one side weighs about 1150 pounds. A suitable reward is offered for their return to the camp or Big Timber.
The District Court of the Sixth Judicial District Sweet Grass County Montana issues a summons to Bila G. Wideman to answer a complaint filed by J. L. Wideman seeking a dissolution of marriage. Defendants must respond within twenty days or face default judgment. Publication date May 14.
