The Bridger Creek annual school picnic is set for Thursday the 19th with community invitation. The school track team placed fourth at Big Timber and Agnes Krone with Ivan Krone won first in arithmetic. Mrs Flora McArthur of Everett Washington died May 5, mother to Fred Hausserman, survived by other Washington relatives.

Lou Berbert of Livingston develops a gold property on Great Falls creek in Boulder. Ten tons of ore are ready for test and assays, with some high grade ore reported. Earl Wright of Boulder River will lead a six mile pack in and forty mile track haul to Big Timber, to ship ore to Butte. The mine lies about 50 miles south of Big Timber, west of the Main Boulder, and 12 miles south of the old Co emet mining camp.

Washington May 9 Secret service agents investigated a report that a man held by Washington police had plotted the kidnapping of President Roosevelt. An official said federal officers found no basis for further action and dropped the case. Police held him while they probed fraudulent checks alleged against him.

Three Teens Die In Montana Weekend Auto Crashes
Montana reported three fatal weekend auto accidents raising the year toll to 32. Victims included Craig Pomeroy, 19, of Glendive killed when a car overturned. Walter Hettick Jr., 19, of Butte died after a Sunday street crash. and Robert Hargis, 15, and Thomas Robinson, 14, of Stevensville injured when a truck with a Stevensville High party overturned. Robert died from his injuries Monday. Thomas remained in critical condition.
