Carbon County plans water storage project in Montana

Payne completes securing right of way for new highway
W. W. Payne of Helena, right of way agent for the state highway commission, finished obtaining permits for the highway across the flat from First Avenue to the Boulder bridge except for the Stubblefield lands. A court action will determine its value. Work may begin soon as equipment is in place north of the Yellowstone bridge. The route starts at the white post by the court house yard, proceeds along First Avenue, to the Stenberg home, Busha street, then a partial arc across the flat.
