No raise in rates denied for Home Telephone Co
Ray Willman manager of the Home Telephone Co. failed to secure a 25 cent monthly rate increase from the public utilities commission at Helena. He added two operators at 120 dollars per month and sought a raise of 6 cents on 500 phones to cover the cost. The commission urged cost cutting by reducing operator numbers.
