Irrigation Bid Approved for Big Timber District
The state arid land commission reports the security bond for A Woermser irrigation work in the Big Timber district has been furnished. The $12.50 per acre contract covers complete irrigation and immigrant settlement across 50 000 acres with 15 percent retained until full completion. Water will come from the Boulder river and Big Timber creek with ditching rather than dam building.
