Calvin Coolidge Begins Fourth Year as President

Dawes won the vice presidency amid sweeping changes and a blunt critique of Senate rules. The event drew a record radio audience as Coolidge renewed his oath and pledged government frugality, while Dawes shocked the Senate with procedural moves.
