Big Timber Firemen Host Highly Successful Masquerade Ball

Settlers Arrive Anticipated for Glass Lindsay Project
Five parties from the east and southwest are due to arrive tomorrow to inspect and possibly purchase land. The southwest group is led by an Oklahomaer new to the area who believes climate, soil, and water favor Montana. Ohio Indiana and Minnesota participants number about six each and many have already bought tracts, boosting new inquiries and plans for a busy season.

Northern Pacific Announces New Observation Cars
The Northern Pacific will receive ten new observation cars on March 1 from car builders. The cars will operate on the North Coast Limited and the Northern Pacific Express, the latter the last 72 hour through train between Chicago and Portland. The train offers a la carte dining, electric lighting, a drawing room and tourist sleeping car, plus library and buffet services.
