State fair trophy cups announced for Montana exhibits

Louis W Hill has decided to award seven cups for Montana state fair exhibits across seven departments. Prizes range from 100 to 250 dollars for best grains grasses seeds vegetables roots apples winter wheat potatoes oats and corn exhibits. The winning displays will tour the east via Great Northern Railway to attract home seekers. Former County Commissioner Rye shows a new auto in exhibitions of fancy driving.

Montana State College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts Exposed

The Montana State College at Bozeman offers twelve bachelor of science courses across agriculture engineering biology and more. It has a 60 member faculty supported mainly by federal funds and state buildings with over 400 students enrolled. facilities include College hall, Hamilton hall dormitory and upcoming engineering building set for use by 1912.

Case Without Grounds Former Local Businessman Targeted by Detectives

W L Irvine once of this city faces a bank robbery charge in Tooele Utah. The June 7 raid on Commercial Bank of Tooele for 8000 dollars led to private detective arrests of innocent hoboes. Irvine and secretary Joseph Balluff were exonerated by sheriff and county attorney but demand a hearing. Bank cashier I L Shaffer remains charged though money was returned.

Little Japs Are Coming With Otari Troupe

The Otari troupe of four Japanese performers joins the Yankee Robinson Shows at Big Timber for a one day engagement on Thursday July 18. The three children are among the smallest and most remarkable athletes produced by Japan and have learned some English since arriving in March. They will interact with the audience and speak in their native language when meeting the circus attendees. Bray's promotes home cured hams bacon and kettle rendered lard.
