The first Park county populist convention gathered in Livingston on Saturday to elect three delegates and alternates to the state convention in Deer Lodge on June 25. Sixteen delegates from Livingston Hunter's Springs Mission and Clyde Park approved R. S. Schmalhausen as chairman and Joe Baker as secretary. Delegates sworn in included R D Kenney Clyde Park R S Schmalhausen and E Pinney of Livingston with alternates J Baker John Martin Sr and J M Sample.
