The United States Geological Survey releases a topographic map for the Bonner quadrangle covering about 840 square miles in Gra ate Ravilli and Missoula counties. Missoula lies partly inside the area with University Mountain on the map. Contours show 100 foot intervals and depict Rock Creek canyon against Hellgate River valley. Major industries listed include lumbering mining near Clinton and Quigley and valley stock grazing. grain and vegetables grow along Camas Prairie and along Hellgate and Blackfoot Rivers.
