Doctor Kyde of Helena Marries Before Tragic End
Dr M W Kyde of Thompson and Kyde physicians in Helena was found dead yesterday in his Montana club room less than a day after his marriage in Butte to Genevieve Smith. An autopsy by coroner Dr David Berg found cyanide traces in the stomach, suggesting suicide with a large quantity. the fumes required the coroner to avert his face during testing.

Couple Honored On Golden Anniversary
Knute and Mrs. Anderson celebrated a golden wedding at the George O Rostad home with friends from Melville and Big Timber in attendance. Rev. A A Holbeck presented a purse of 138, C M Rein spoke for guests. The couple married June 7 1877 in Trondhjem Norway. Children and grandchildren attended. one child died in infancy and a son was killed in France in WWI. Eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren survive. Out of town guests included Ole and Charles Eggen Peter Gaustad and family, Mrs John Hoff, Mrs Ole Ferguson and Mrs Ila Ostenson.

Ben M. Mjelde longtime Big Timber resident and city official died Thursday night at 10:20 after a prolonged illness likely hastened by monument work at Mountain View cemetery. Funeral services were held at his home and Lutheran Church with Elks involvement and numerous civic pallbearers. Born April 27, 1863 in Madison Wisconsin, he moved to Montana in 1884 and became a longtime public figure in the community.

Montana's final lamb crop is projected 12 to 15 percent below last year, based on field checks showing lower percentages of expected yields. Gripped lambs averaged 14.25 to 14.50, spring lambs 60 to 72 pounds priced 16.50 to 16.75.

New York June 3 Indians whose ancestors once fought the Black Hills warpath may guard President Coolidge at his South Dakota summer residence. The Fourth Cavalry based at Fort Meade will provide 50 men and three officers as guard detail dismounted for duty. The unit recently recruited 25 full blood Sioux Tadins. The Fourth Cavalry, first congress created regiment, has a record from 1872 to 1882 campaigns against Sioux Kiowas Comanches and Apache. Fort Meade remains a frontier post commanded by Lt Colonel Richard Walker with Colonel Osman Latrobe overseeing the regiment at Fort D A Russell Wyoming.
