Anti-Trust Bill Passes House With One Vote Against
The Littlefield amendment to the Sherman anti trust law passed the house 273 to 1 last Saturday. It tightens the act by declaring every contract or trust illegal and triples damages for the injured, expanding definitions to include corporate agents and attorneys. The bill authorizes prosecutions, enjoins interstate commerce, and allows civil actions in U S courts.

Boies Urges Conservative Democrats to Drift From Bryan

Death of Montana editor Sutherlin at 58 in White Sulphur Springs
William H. Sutherlin editor and co owner of the Rocky Mountain Husbandman died at his White Sulphur Springs home last Saturday aged 58 after a cancer of the stomach. He came to Montana in 1864 from Missouri and earlier lived in Diamond City where he mined and served as sheriff. In 1874 he and Robt N Sutherlin founded the Rocky Mountain Husbandman. when Diamond City became White Sulphur Springs the plant moved there in 1880. He held many public posts with an honorable record and actively promoted settlement and agriculture through his editorials.
