City Council Sees Budget and Growth Plans Discussed
City council met with all members to review the preliminary budget and growth plans for sewer and water lines under the interstate. Big Timber Volunteer Fire Department Adds 2500 Gallon Tank Truck
The Big Timber Volunteer Fire Department began using a 1955 White tank truck with 2500 gallon capacity on June 10. Chief Dennis Beer says the unit, funded by a $2700 Title 4 grant from the Forestry Department and area donations, improves response, lowers area insurance rates, and boosts overall water capacity to 5250 gallons with existing equipment.
