Democratic delegates nominated Gov. Woodrow Wilson of New Jersey for president on the forty-sixth ballot after a long roll call. Indiana Gov. Marshall was named for vice president with other contenders including Clark, Burke, Hurst, Wade, Preston, and James H. Preston. James Kelsey Dies After Fall From Lumber Wagon
Indiana native James Kelsey aged 63 died last Sunday night from injuries after falling from a loaded wagon near the Sweet Grass river while returning from a lumber load. He was found by two small boys who aided him and reported the accident to neighbors.
