Four Hurt In Collision West Of Laurel
Four people were injured when a Red Lodge sedan and a Billings sedan collided on the Laurel road two miles west of Laurel just before 5 p m Tuesday. Injured were the Rev H W Woods and Mrs Woods of Red Lodge Charles Bond operator of the Commercial hotel Elmer Guhrt of Partington garage. Mrs Woods was unconscious and treated for facial cuts and hip injury at Billings Deaconess hospital. Bond sustained chest injuries Woods sprained his right wrist and leg Guhrt was bruised.

Death Claims George Miles in Portland Ore
George M Miles of Miles City aged 81 nephew of Gen Nelson A Miles died Tuesday afternoon at a daughter’s home in Portland Oregon after a lingering illness. The Montana pioneer came to the area in 1876 with his uncle and served as a clerk in the quartermaster department of the Fifth Infantry. Miles City was named for his uncle the famous Indian fighter and army officer.
