Local mural showcased in new Sweet Grass medical center
Two Big Timber artists Jack Hines and Jessica Zemsky completed a four panel mural depicting early western scenes for the Sweet Grass County professional medical building. Park hearing set as council eyes new codes
Big Timber City Council spent hours on a long agenda and tentatively approved uniform codes for building, plumbing, electrical work, fire prevention and dangerous buildings. A public hearing on a new mobile home park was set for January 26, with plans to allow prompt code adoption to aid enforcement and demolition efforts.

Roads Sour Year for Sweet Grass County Traffic
In 1975 Sweet Grass County recorded ten traffic deaths, near the county high since 1935, with 39 accidents on Highway 10 between Grey Cliff and Big Timber and 23 on Highway 1 to Springdale. The Montana Highway Department plans to replace the Grey Cliff to Big Timber stretch with Interstate 90, three years away.

In 1975 Sweet Grass County recorded 21 divorces and one annulment in 12 months, with three additional divorce actions filed. Thirty six marriage licenses were issued, and 11 births plus 44 deaths were logged, though many residents had births out of county.
