Cecil Park Griffith age 9 died after a Chrysler sedan struck him at Second and Geyser streets. Witnesses included Park county high school students Morris Spangler Pierce Stevens and John Ayden. Bud Fisher rode a bicycle as Cecil trailed with roller skates. Jud was stunned but walked home.
