Sixty four shooters from across the region competed in the third annual Yellowstone Valley rifle tournament at the Big Timber range. Vance Bowes of Billings won grand aggregate with 1159, edging Earl Hofland of Walier. Dr. James D Jones placed third with 1158. Arlene Pettit was high lady in the grand aggregate. Trophy sponsors included Frye's cafe Davenport Motors and Lazy-K-Bar ranch.
