Clarence Sirrine, 66, prominent Montana stockman, died Friday at his home 141 Burlington avenue after a weeklong illness from pneumonia. Born March 26, 1872 in Clear Lake Iowa, he moved to Montana in 1879, lived near Glen dive, then Billings, ran a ranch near Chance, married Ella Johnston in April 1904, moved to Cody Wyoming in 1920, returned to Billings in 1925 and retired from the stock business about 11 years ago.
