Three Arrested Plead Guilty to Theft and Robbery
The two men and one woman arrested Jan. 24 by Sweet Grass County deputies pled guilty to theft a misdemeanor before Justice Erma Ferguson. Permuy 19 of St. Petersburg Florida received six months deferred sentence with five days jail and relocation to Blanchard Idaho. Gordon and Noman same age from St. Petersburg were ordered to 15 days in county jail. They pled guilty to robbery of a fire at Dick's Standard station.

Attendance policy working at SGHS during first semester
Principal Vance Ramberg reports about 11 out of 2500 students failed the 90 day minimum attendance rule under the new SGHS policy for the 1976 77 school year. Most absences were due to illness triggering automatic exemptions. six students faced penalties with no credit for missing classes. Ramberg praised the policy’s performance this term.

Man Injured In One-Vehicle Crash Near Big Timber
John B. Marshak, 23, of Kennett Square, Pa., sustained a head injury and possible internal injuries in a one vehicle crash on Highway 298 one quarter mile south of Big Timber. His 1965 Ford pickup, owned by Peter Clark, left the road on a curve, skidded, and overturned in a barrow pit. the vehicle was totaled.
