Sweet Grass County Club Holds First Convention in Big Timber
A large earnest body met in Busha and Bailey hall to choose officers and draft petitions for the proposed Sweet Grass County. President Kellogg announced committee results on statistics and petitions, noting 427 signers of petitions and 457 votes cast in the last election, with few refusals. The convention elected Capt. A. C. Logan as temporary chair and E. O. Clark as temporary secretary, adjourned for 2:00 pm, and prepared credentials and resolutions.
