Will A Campbell 57 longtime editor and publisher of The Helena Independent died in Kirkland Washington after extended illness. Born Lincon Nebraska May 8 1881 he built a 25 year helm at the Helena paper with associate La Follette and brother Glenn Campbell as staff. He married Maude Carter and was survived by son W C Campbell and wife.

Funeral services were held at 2 p m Saturday in Helena for Will A Campbell long time editor and publisher of the Helena Independent. Rev M J Pike of the First Baptist church officiated at Opp and Conrad chapel with pallbearers including John G Brown E G Toomey Dr B E H Lindstrom Associate Justice Sam V Stewart J H Dickey Jr and Frank Conley. Masonic services were conducted at the grave.

Ray M Hart prominent Billings merchant and civic leader died suddenly Monday evening of a heart attack at his home on Virginia Lane. He was 64 and had led the Hart Albin Co department store he founded in 1902 with B R Albin.
