Buckskin Press blooms in Big Timber history scene
John and Vivian Baird recently moved to Big Timber Montana at 308 E 7th Ave to run The Buckskin Press a publishing and mail order book business focused on fur trade lore and muzzle loading rifles. Printing is handled in Minneapolis while the couple fields growth from their home with plans for downtown quarters to serve summer tourists.

Big Timber Jaycees Plan Grade School Basketball Tourney
The Big Timber Jaycees held a Wednesday meeting at the Fire Hall with president Phil Moulden presiding. Plans include Wednesday night basketball practice at the grade school gym, a December 28–30 tournament at the high school gym with Reed Point Columbus Clyde Park Big Timber and Rural Raiders invited, and a Free Movie with Santa on December 16 at the Moose Club.
