Open deer season extends to January first in Montana
Sheriff Fallang received a Game War letter confirming the 1901 game law is in effect. Deer and mountain goat seasons run until January 1, mountain sheep are protected year round, small game season ends at month’s start except aquatic fowl which lasts to May 1.
