4 H FFA Fair Set For September 21 In Sweet Grass
The 10th annual 4 H and FFA fair for Sweet Grass county is scheduled for Saturday September 21. Stage Producer George White Sentenced to Road Camp

The Mehlhaffs who arrived in 1940 from Baker Montana will keep their Big Timber home with uncertain future plans except Ruben’s fishing trips. Watson, a baker with merchant marine service, has been working with his father in law Herman E Tillery on a ranch east of Big Timber. Mrs Watson and their 10 month old twin girls will move to Big Timber soon.

The long buried body of an unknown soldier in the Philippines has been positively identified as Captain Colin P. Kelly Jr the celebrated American air hero of the Pearl Harbor opening. The War Department announced the finding and said Kelly and a companion died in a bomber crash after returning from a raid on Japanese warships. His remains lie in Manila Military Cemetery No 1 and may be brought home if kin request.
