Montana Governor Proclaims Tax Measure Initiative for 1968
Governor Tim Babcock proclaims petitions filed to place Initiative Sixty six on the November fifth 1968 ballot. The measure would amend Montana tax codes by creating a separate class for household goods unprocessed agricultural products stocks of merchandise and moneys and credits and set taxed value at one percent of true value. The notice is dated July 9 1968 in Helena with Secretary of State Frank Murray attesting.
