Judge Refuses To Set Bail In Double Burglar Case
District Judge E. E. Fenton denied William J. Nelson bail after a hearing where County Atty. John J. Cavan argued against bond. Nelson, 41, of Great Falls, was convicted twice on a first degree burglary charge and faces an April 11 appeal. Jurors also recommended a 10 year sentence for the January 1954 Elliots Inc. burglary in which 1400 dollars was stolen. Witnesses included Sheriff W. H. Osborne and Police Chief C. E. Maness with Detective Captain R. L. Wilson detailing Nelsons background.

Scout Exposition Scheduled in Livingston This Saturday
Palmer Finsvik and Jim Schneid er attended a district Scout committee meeting in Livingston.
