The 1955 fund campaign of the Sweet Grass chapter, American Cancer Society, opens tomorrow with a goal of 528 dollars. Mrs. Dorman Kellogg is chairman and has appointed district and area community chairmen to contact residents. The drive runs through April and hinges on public contributions. Coroner jury determines Donald M. Shawhan of Billings caused the wreck on highway 10 near Big Timber by driving on the wrong side. Harold J. Spilman of Richland Wash. died. Spilman’s wife and Steve Taylor from Billings were injured. Blood test showed Shawhan alcohol content at 0.17.

Adams Return From Mexico After Leisure Trip
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Adams returned yesterday from a three week winter in Old Mexico. They toured the Grand Canyon and Zion National Parks en route home and attended outdoor Easter services at Grand Canyon. They visited Mesa and Phoenix to see former Big Timber residents and dined with F. R. Hickman and Grace Williams, who recently bought a Phoenix home. Ed jokes about moving to Phoenix if she would sell. The home is brick Spanish style with a large yard and attractive landscaping.

Salk polio vaccine hailed as safe and effective
