John L B Burton, as receiver, conducted an auction of the Patterson assets before the district court at the courthouse. The first parcel included ranch land, sheep, and equipment and sold for 46,200 to John T Murphy trustee. A 650 head cattle parcel and a stallion share also sold to Murphy.
