Prospector Thomas Petty Dies at Cottage Hotel
Thomas Petty, 54, an old timer in the Boulder district prospector line, died about 2 a m yesterday at the Cottage Hotel where he had stayed for months for Brights disease treatment. The last days he slept in a room next to the office. a sister in Texas is his only known relative. The funeral will be held today.

Horses Killed and Injured in Ranch Wagon Crash
A. R. Cavane lost two valuable horses and another was severely hurt when a hay rack wagon coming down a steep hill from the ranch collapsed. The rough lock broke and the wagon struck the wheel horses, their hooves caught on the lead bars, causing the outfit to pile up. One horse was killed and another badly hurt. driver J. Kelsey escaped injury.
