Revival services begin Sunday morning October 1 at First Southern Baptist Church with daily evening sessions from October 18 at 7 30. The pastor is Rev Justin LeRoy of Clarkdale Georgia. The public is invited to attend.
Dorothy B Newcrmb and others receive notice of a civil action in Sublette County Wyoming to quiet title on Lots 3 4 5 7 in Marbleton Townsite with buildings. Defendants must answer by November 11 1961 or face default judgment. Public notice appeared in Piney Examiner September 21 28 and October 5 12 1961.

The Board of Trustees School District SW Sublette County Wyoming invites sealed bids for labor materials tools equipment transportation and services for the complete installation of kitchen equipment in Big Piney High School. Bids due by 8:00 PM October 11 1961 and opened publicly.
Mrs. Donna Beth Downer of Casper Wyoming, Grand Guardian of the International Order of Job's Daughters, paid an official visit to Bethel No. 36 in Pinedale last Thursday evening September 21. A 6 pm pork supper honored guests and families as the Masonic Hall dining room showed bouquets and a piano solo entertained by Karin Roberts. Initiations were held for Yana Kaul and Sheila Reese. Kathleen Rothe of Capet was not initiated due to illness.
The autumn themed Homemaker's Tea featured decorations and a mirror mural. Boulder and Pinedale 4-H clubs along with the Pinedale Homemaker's Club presented a variety program. Mrs Fear spoke about the National Home Demonstration Council meeting in Otomo Maine. Erie plans for next year’s ward meeting in Lexington Kentucky. Stella McKinstry outlined the 1962 home economics extension program.

A special Sunday meeting at the LaBarge school house organized the LaBarge Branch of the LDS Church. Alonzo Hopkin of the Woodruff Stake presided, Harold Jones named president, with Calvin Barnes and Eddie Mack as counselors. Maurice Zardus was chosen counselor in the Bishopric at the Ward Conference in Piney.
