Governor John B. Kendrick and county candidates will speak at Budd Hall in Big Piney on Tuesday evening October 10. A short program precedes addresses, then a dance with orchestra. Sandwiches cake and coffee will be served.
Marbleton State Bank pledges full support to patrons offering flexible loans and assistance programs to meet diverse financial needs. Bank officials emphasize readiness to tailor options for individuals and local businesses.
Official minutes show regular and adjourned meetings of Big Piney town council on September 5 and 23 1916 with L D Tanner mayor F D Chapel J P Jensen W C Rose present and D B Budd absent. Bills approved including R Rose attorney and R A Young printing and salary. Ordinance No 27 amended to allow fruit peddling inside city limits at 5 annually.
Miss Orpha Mae Fields and Mr Ira Baldwin wed at the bride’s Marbleton home. A honeymoon trip to Kemmerer was cut short when a fan tore the radiator near Dry Piney. they returned to Big Piney for repairs and resumption of plans. The couple will reside in the community. Harold Munn returned from Halfway and plans a Taft California winter visit.
Miss Lilian Curtis and Bruce Parker left Big Piney to visit friends and were wed in Paris Idaho by Rev Brown head of the Latter Day Saints with C S Gilhousen as witness. Parker and Curtis return home the next evening.
