Big Piney Town Council Proceedings September 1949
The Big Piney Town Council, led by Mayor C R ONeil, met September 6 1949 at the ONeil home with Councilmen Yearsley Masoner and others. Bills were approved including for fire truck storage street lighting and town administration. An August 18 special session approved a graveling bill for Larry Looney. The meeting adjourned with standard adjournment language. A note recalls Mount Vernon views remain regulated per George Washington’s directive. A separate line references phosphate resources concentrated in Wyoming and nearby states, largely undeveloped.
