Wyoming Hereford Tour Heads Into Sublette County
Sublette and Teton counties host a three day Wyoming Hereford tour from September 21 to 23. Breeders visit O Neil Hereford Ranch and Fear Ranches near Big Piney, then Boulder area sites, with lunch in Jackson and final stops near Daniel and Pinedale. Auctions Set For Horses And Feeders At Local Show
The Harrison area hosts an auction for Quarter Horses and a pen of five feeder steer calves to attract Future Farmers and 4 H Club youths. Lee TePoel, stock show manager, says the event will feature high quality, uniform pens and a sequence of back-to-back activities. Other notes include an open house for Phil Marincic Sr.’s 35th wedding anniversary, a youth rally featuring Teenage Rock at Community Congregational Church, and a Big Piney Petroleum Club meeting. Local residents Rulon Campbell family visited, and Mrs. Virostko recovers from nine stitches after a knee injury.
