A gallery show features members of the university art faculty this summer with works by John Goodman Cheyenne Jean Goedicke William Johnson Pam Jolson Earle Reed Lin Hopkins and others. The exhibit runs until September 20 with Lin Hopkins Casper as president and Mrs Lewis Brown Rock Springs as secretary of the Wyoming Art Association and Prof. Smith as executive secretary.

Cheyenne was selected to host the grand lodge session of the AF and AM of Wyoming in 1945 after the 1944 Shendon fest week closure. J I Sawyer of Torrington won the post of Grand Master with Thomas Sterling of Upton as deputy. Irvin Stairk was re elected Grand Secretary and Big Piney Chapter 42 received a Grand Ada appointment for Mae Mickelson.

Rock Springs Wyoming citizens and officials report the Green River Basin Development Company seeks organization and individual memberships to back its western Wyoming irrigation and grazing projects. Officers say 5 350 000 acres of grazing lands remain untouch ed under the Taylor Grazing Act, while irrigable land remains limited to about 304 500 acres. The effort aims to secure congressional support and allocate funds, with volunteer work ongoing and dues collected by secretary D Y Miller in Rock Springs and local members.
