Hospital Need for Big Piney Urged by Local Residents
A plea from Big Piney residents appeals for a town hospital to serve the region. The letter argues most illnesses require hospital care, would keep a physician local, and prevent patients from traveling to other towns. It notes nearby Jackson maintains a hospital and urges community planning, funding, and cooperation to establish a hospital large enough to serve all in need year round.
