Big Piney School Hires Fifth Teacher on Recommendation
County Superintendent Myra Geer visited Big Piney and agreed the district needed another teacher. Miss Alice Jewel of Colorado was hired to teach history and literature in the high school and assist with grade work. The basement will serve as a recitation room as enrollment in the high school reaches seventeen with two more pending.

Joe Bell of Halfway transacted business in town on Monday. Mr and Mrs Fred Graham of Merna moved into the Mills house west of the Congregational Church this week and plan to stay through the school year. Soren Jensen, visiting his son James, returned to Omaha last Thursday. Mr and Mrs Larsen left for Salt Lake and will join Mr and Mrs Frank Burney in Fall River Basin for a hunt. During their absence Mr Elias from Rock Springs will be in the Bank.
