Oliver Twichel and son Alvin of LaBarge were in on Monday for Piney business. E R Noble and wife transacted ranch business in town Saturday. Naomi Ray returned from Rock Springs to help with her mother’s illness in Kemmerer. L W Sargent’s lamb band from Daniel shipped via Opal last Saturday. Mrs O Conner and granddaughter Kathleen Levy travel to Salt Lake then California to stay with relatives. Fred and Marie Guthrie bring their mother Mary Guthrie from Cottonwood to LaBarge for a visit. The Guthries’ hotel near Wyetah holdings thrives in the oil fields. A sheriff sale of a foreclosed automobile last Saturday yielded Bror Edin as bidder and owner. Sheriff James Payne conducted the auction.
