Migratory stamp required for hunters 16 and older, obtainable at post offices.

Lightning Kills Two Horses and Fires Meadow at Olson Ranch
A Monday night electrical storm struck the Ener Olson ranch in New York killing two horses and igniting the meadow. Rain soon followed to extinguish the blaze with no major damage. A Lightning also hit a Wind charger tower at the Arnold Olson property causing no significant harm.

Taxpayers Annual Meeting Set for Casper October 13 1947
The Wyoming taxpayers association announces its annual joint meeting of executive and advisory committees in Casper on October 13. President Erle H. Harold Hurich reports that six speakers from the University of Wyoming wool technology department will assist at two fall wool schools. The Worland sessions run October 13 and 14, Kemmerer October 17 and 18, with two all day sessions each. Sponsors include the Wyoming Cooperative Wool Marketing Association and the University of Wyoming. The meetings are open to all interested wool growers.
