Wyoming bonds promise winter highway work plan
Wyoming voters will decide on a 2.8 million highway bond at the November 4 general election. Approval would fund immediate winter surfacing and bridge work, sustaining state projects and federal aid, while defeat could halt the program and block funds. Local notes mention residents and stockmen and a hay and pasture sale upcoming in Fontenelle and Slate Creek areas.

Supervisor Objects to Halving Sheep Grazing Fees
A letter from Forest Supervisor C. E. Favre to Lincoln County Wool Growers President J. D. Noblitt argues against reducing National Forest grazing fees for permitted sheep. He cites range conditions, small impact of Wyoming sheep, and phased fee increases since 1928, proposing a 12 cent per head season rate or 4 cents per head monthly, with continued discussion on a continuation page.
