Unofficial Sublette County returns show LJB Carries Nation By Landslide with McGee re elected as senator and Roncalio unseating Harrison for U S House. Names cited include Goldwater Miller Humphrey Wold Magee and others with district judges and local officials listed. An American pianist Ozan Marsh to perform in Kemmerer on November 16.
Big Piney schools invite parents and the public to National Education Week November 8 14 1964. A PTA meeting is planned for Monday November 9 at 8 00 p.m. at the Elementary School with speaker Mr. Meacher warden of the Wyoming State Penitentiary on Thursday November 12 Parents Day for grades 1 12. The program outlines course reviews across elementary junior and senior high with sessions on math modern program language arts science and more led by teachers in each room.
The November 10 meeting at 7 30 pm at the Dean Binning Ranch will feature Hugh Hough a Sails Specialist from the University of Wyoming. Farm Bureau members are invited as the speaker lineup promises timely talks on land and beef production and family farm concerns.
An assembly at Big Piney High School on November 11 at 10 45 am honors the war dead. A historical presentation on the origins and purpose of the day will be given along with flag presentations, readings, and band numbers. Rev Johnson will give the invocation and benediction.
