Budd Hereford Ranch bulls sell at Big Piney auction
The first annual Budd Hereford Ranch sale drew sixty bulls at a strong average of $612. The Joe Budd ranch near Big Piney hosted the event on Friday October 28. Rocking Chair Ranch Dubois Wyoming led buyers paying an average $748 for fourteen head with the high seller at $1150 bred by John Tarsier. Milford Steels Pinedale bought six bulls at $569 on average. Other buyers included Jake Pistarer Bar CG Ranch Phil Marineri Fred Schaffer Cam Ewid Joe Murdoch Ed Finnegan Bob Wilson Cal Hickey Armmold Olson and Larry Miller with varying volumes and prices. Tanner Srothers purchased two double bred bulls for $2000. In a separate note Sublette County Artists Guild meeting in Pinedale welcomed new members Mrs Har old Taylor and planned National Education Week exhibit with Betty Blake Mrs Olson named to arrange a verse song and ballad program. Peggy Everald discussed limericks with examples and two poetry pieces were selected for performance. Next meeting set for Tuesday Nov 8.
